RISC Summer 2009: Conference Registration and Room Reservation
Registration is open.
To register for one or more events of the RISC Summer
2009 and
(optionally) reserve a hotel room, please perform the following
steps.
If there are any questions, please contact the RISC secretary.
- System: Please go the
conference registration system
(click on the
link above to open a new browser window/tab).
- Conference Registration: To register for
one or more events, please check the corresponding
"Cart" box(es) at the right side of the page; then press the "Next" button.
Depending on your current selection, some options may not be selectable (they
are displayed as "?").
If you just want to reserve a
hotel room, select "Miscellaneous/No registration: reservation of accommodation
only".
- Accommodation: You may now choose to reserve
a hotel room in Hagenberg (please give your check-in and check-out
dates); individual conferences may organize transport to Hagenberg
(please check the corresponding web pages). Then press the "Next" button.
You may also decide to reserve a
hotel room in
Linz on your own
and commute
to Hagenberg.
- Billing Address: Now create a user account
(with a freely chosen user id and
password) and enter your personal data. These data are kept confidential
and will not be forwarded to third parties.
Please be sure to enter a valid
email address!
- Payment Mode: please select one of the modes "online
payment" or "invoice payment" in order to pay for your conference
registration (you pay for your hotel room directly at the hotel).
Then press the "Next" button.
Please select the option "invoice payment"
only if you cannot pay by credit card or
(Austrian participants only) EPS bank transfer. You will then be billed
by invoice which adds an extra handling charge of 20€
to your conference fee. For a total sum of 0€ (e.g. reservation of
accommodation only), select "online payment" (you need not provide payment
information in this case).
- Online Payment: If you have selected "online payment",
you may now again review your booking cart. Then press the button "Go to
payment" which directs you to the payment portal (running on the secure
server of a commercial payment provider). You have the following payment
options:
- International Participants: credit cards are accepted.
Supported cards are currently: American Express, Diners, JCB,
MasterCard, and VISA.
- Austrian Participants: also EPS
bank transfer is accepted.
Supported banks are currently:
Bank Burgenland, Bank für Ärzte und Freie Berufe, Bankhaus Carl Spängler & Co. AG, BAWAG, Die österreichischen Volksbanken, easybank, Erste Bank und Sparkassen, Gärtnerbank, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank AG, Hypo Investmentbank AG, Hypo OÖ/Sbg/Stmk/Tirol, Immo-Bank, Investkredit Bank AG, NÖ Landesbank-Hypothekenbank AG, Österreichische Apothekerbank, PSK Bank, Raiffeisen, Sparda Bank.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that
we have received your
registration (please check your spam folder in case your spam filter
classifies this email as spam).
If the email does not arrive within an hour or so, please contact the
RISC
secretary.
In approximately two weeks, you will also receive per email a
confirmation of your payment.
You may later use the account created in Step 4 to check
your registration:
- Please wait for an email including the activation link of your newly
created account.
- Click on this link to activate your account (otherwise login will not
work).
- Login to the
system using your account data and
check your registration.
