Entry requirements:

Participants should be familiar with the most basic notions of set theory (union, intersection, power set etc.) and with the language of predicate logic.

Assessment/Examination:

Seminar talks.

Course aims:

Getting acquainted with various aspects of set theory (axiomatic foundation, cardinal numbers, etc.)

Course description:

Thetalks will range from elementary topics to more advanced ones like large cardinals, and also to philosophical issues.
