(Techniques for Scientific Work)



The course consists in traninig for scientific work for students in Computer Science and Mathematics.

The course trains formal skills (proving mathematical statements, formalizing mathematical theories, and understanding formal text) and scientific communication skills (writing scientific material, presenting scienfic communications, selecting and reading scientific work, participating at scientific presentations, and scientific cooperation).

The grade is based on a written test at the end of the lecture. Additionally a bonus of one grade point is awarded to the students who will demonstrate their scientific communication skills by writing a sample paper and giving a sample presentation.
