CASA Function: mkImplAlgSet
Creates an algebraic set given in its implicit representation.
Calling Sequence:
- A := mkImplAlgSet(repr,vars)
- A := mkImplAlgSet(repr,vars,attr)
Parameters:
- repr : list(polynom(casaCoeffType, vars))
- list of polynomials in vars with coefficients of type casaCoeffType.
- vars : list(name)
-
- attr : list(equation)
- list of initial attributes
Result:
- A : algset("impl")
- A Maple object representing an algebraic set.
Description:
- The function works as an input interface to the datatype algebraic set. It takes as argument a list or set of polynomials whose common zeros define the algebraic set.
Examples:
> A := mkImplAlgSet([x^2+y^2-4],[x,y]);
